Volunteering with YWCA
Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community. YWCA Greater Cincinnati has an array of opportunities for you to become involved as much or as little as your schedule allows – recurring opportunities, special events, program support, and more. We would love your help supporting the women and families we serve.

Be advised that criminal background checks are required for those volunteering to work in a shelter and for those who work with the children that we serve.
For some opportunities, formal education and on-the-job training are required and are provided to the volunteer free of charge.

Volunteer Activities

Committee Service
Examples include paperwork tasks; cleaning or organizing at our shelters; event planning and MORE!
Off-Site
Including donation drives; assisting with brochure design. Groups of volunteers have helped decorate our domestic violence shelters and provided yard care and beautification.
