This year’s Real Reads Discussion selection “They Were Her Property” by Stephanie Jones-Rogers focuses on the intersections of gender, race, and socio-economic status from a historical lens. Through themes of race and privilege, the history of power and control, and the concept of ownership, we will unpack how we think of economics, property, and power today. Each session virtual or in person will last for 1.5 hours and is open to the public! Registration ensures that you will receive all access for dates, locations, and links for Real Reads 2023.
