YWCA Real Reads series provides free community conversations exploring the effects of interpersonal and structural racism on our culture and society. Our experienced facilitators will bring the discussion to your group in either a virtual or in-person event. Two-hour discussions of Richard Rothstein’s The Color of Law are available Monday through Friday throughout the months of September, October and November.

Rothstein’s book explores how federal, state & local housing policies mandated segregation & undermined the ability of Black families to own homes & build wealth.
