YWCA Greater Cincinnati is honored to be the non-profit recipient of the proceeds from the Bacchanalian Society’s Fall Tasting. Please join us to celebrate our 150th Anniversary serving the Greater Cincinnati community.
The Bacchanalian Society ensures that the finer things in life are enjoyed without pretense and always in the company of good friends. Their namesake, Bacchus, is the Roman deity of wine and merriment who represents not only the intoxicating power of wine, but also its social and beneficial influences. The Bacchanalian Society unites the legacy of Bacchus with the unabashed zest for life of today’s creative class.
By helping charities to organize and conduct wine tastings every quarter – that’s right, only four events a year – the Bacchanalian Society integrates social and professional networking with philanthropy. The wine tastings attract a diverse mix of inquisitive, young professionals – wine novices and wine experts alike – to join on common ground for the benefit of charity. Everyone is welcome, as long as you’re over 21, but wine snobs should check their attitudes at the door.
