Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month! In concert with the National Sexual Violence Resource Center’s campaign, the YWCA Eastern Area focuses on healthy sexuality and child sexual abuse prevention.

Court Advocacy & Sexual Assault Services – Eastern Area Services

YWCA Eastern Area Services provides court advocacy to domestic and sexual violence victims in Adams, Clermont and Brown counties. The program provides outreach, legal advocacy, support, education and referrals to victims of domestic violence. Court advocates prepare individuals for civil and criminal court hearings, assist in the explanation of the legal process, provide court accompaniment and serve victims and law enforcement. YWCA Sexual Assault Program provides 24-hour crisis intervention, TTY accessible hotline assistance and hospital accompaniment, support groups, community outreach, prevention education, and advocacy for sexual assault survivors and the community.
