The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women. We recognize the need for dialogue about racial justice to improve the quality of life for everyone in our community. It is also important to support organizational leadership to further racial justice. The YWCA has developed a new program, focusing on how individuals and groups connect, organize, think systemically and learn. This dynamic process can mobilize action and change.
Toward Equity challenges conventional thinking about diversity and inclusion. It provides a new framework to help attendees achieve organizational goals as a result of new self-awareness and intentional behavior. It also provides tools to help participants analyze company polices, processes and procedures to avoid racialized outcomes.
