Eastern Area Prevention Services (Adams, Brown and Clermont Counties):Safe Dates: Evidence-based programming is presented to middle and high school students in Clermont, Brown and Adams Counties. This free programming focuses on healthy relationships, conflict resolution skills, dating violence and sexual assault prevention and intervention strategies, technology safety, bullying prevention, gender stereotypes, healthy masculinity and more.
Each year, this program serves 2,000+ students. In addition to middle and high school programming, community education is also provided to colleges and universities as well as at-risk youth at Juvenile Detention Centers and local Group Homes. Adams and Brown County Intervention Services:
Intervention services are available to survivors of domestic, dating, and sexual violence as well as stalking. Crisis intervention, Safety Planning, Shelter referrals, Support Groups, Civil Legal Advocacy, Hospital Accompaniment, as well as Case Management services are offered to those in need in Brown and Adams Counties. Education & Training
Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) is a home-based, family focused program that helps parents provide educational enrichment for their preschool child. HIPPY’s mission is to empower parents as primary educators of their children in the home and to foster parental involvement in school and community life to maximize the chances of successful early school experiences. By supporting parents, HIPPY’s primary goal is to increase vulnerable children’s success in school and, ultimately, in life. HIPPY services are available in Clermont and Brown counties.
